THE PROBLEM WE WORK WITHIN
Contemporary African art is expanding. Institutions are multiplying, artists are gaining international recognition, and the conversation is growing louder. But access remains uneven. Exhibitions go undocumented. Opportunities circulate within closed networks. Critical framing rarely travels as far as the work itself. The infrastructure for navigating the field has not kept pace with its growth.
WHAT WE DO
We do not simply publish content. We select what enters the conversation around contemporary African art and shape how it is encountered once it does. We are not a feed. We are a frame.
HOW WE WORK
We select based on relevance within the contemporary African art landscape today. Each piece carries context on the artist's practice, the institution's position, and the exhibition's stakes in the broader field. We support how the field is navigated, not just how it is seen.
